THE CLASSIC SAFARI CAMP
THE TENTS
  • Ngong type tent for two persons. Size: 10 x 10 x 8 ft.
  • 2 Wash basins.
  • 2 Bedcotts in canvas + 4" Foam mattress.
  • Fresh linen + 2 blankets.
  • 2 Sets of towels.
  • 1 Metal bedside table.
  • 1 Kerosene lamp.
  • 1 Torch.
  • Kangas to cover tables.
  • Mirrors, waste and laundry baskets.
  • Toilets and showers in the camp.

This new scheduled safari goes with a minimum of 4 people and offers the best in Northern Tanzania with a combination of Kibo Luxury Camps and lodge and farm stays. Depending on the weather, we may switch to Serena Lodge at the Crater in the cold months. We've built the itinerary around the KLM scheduled flights into Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha but it's possible to accommodate passengers coming from Nairobi as well.

Day2: Arusha National Park - Mt. Village Lodge (FB)

Day 3: Tarangire National Park -Kibo Classic Camp

Day  4:Tarangire National Park - Kibo Classic Camp

Day 5: Lake Manyara - Above Lake Manyara Gibb's Farm or Plantation Lodge (FB)

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater - Kibo Classic Camp (walking at Ol Moti)

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater - Kibo Classic Camp

Day 8: Serengeti National Park - Serena or Ndutu Lodge (FB)

Day 9: Serengeti National Park - Kibo Classic Camp

Day 10: Serengeti National Park - Kibo Classic Camp

Day 11: Serengeti National Park - Kibo Classic Camp

Day 12: Fly Serengeti/Arusha - Lunch, dayroom, transfer to JRO

Delicious 3 course meals cooked in open air, are served in an spacious mess tent. Selection of salads carefully washed with boiled water (and served in vinegar dressing), soup, meat, fish and vegetables, pasta or rice, fresh fruits and cakes for dessert are part of our menus.

A selection of local beers is available as well as mineral water and soft drinks. It's suggested that clients bring their favorite hard alcoholic beverage or order from us before the start of the journey. All bottled beverages are billed at the end of the safari with the exception of wine during the evening meal.
